Wine Country RV Park was built in 2002 and has all of the amenities found in the finest RV parks. It is located in the center of Washington's WINE COUNTRY in the sunny lower Yakima Valley. Easy access to the freeway and spacious sites makes parking even the largest RV a snap. If you are a connoisseur of fine wines, this is your place. When the park was originally built, there were 12 wineries in the Prosser area. Now only a few years later there are 34 local wineries with tasting rooms. Thirteen are within walking distance of Wine Country RV Park. Many of the wineries were previously located on the farm where the grapes were grown. Now they are moving into Prosser to allow their guests to more easily enjoy the incredible wines they are making. Prosser is located at the same latitude as some of the finest grape growing regions in France but because of the 300 days of sunshine and irrigation, the grapes are much more consistent and perfect for wine making.Columbia Crest in 2009
